ABOUT US

Thomas Nickerson established our company in 1957 as Nickerson Construction Company. In 1968 Jim Remick joined the firm and Nickerson Home Improvement Company, Inc. was established as the residential remodeling division. The construction division was dissolved in 1974. In 1975 we began our spray foam insulation service, insulating houses, storage tanks, roofs, coolers and more, and the company devoted all of its resources to the foam insulation and home improvements division. In 1976 Jim Remick purchased the firm and the name was changed to Nickerson-Remick. 

The company is a family run business with three generations of four people on staff.  Our corporate office has been located at 95 Brewster Street in Portsmouth, NH since 1972.  This facility is devoted to warehouse and office space for our operation.  With a commitment to quality workmanship, service and our customers’ needs, an excellent reputation was sure to follow. Now with over 50 years behind us, we have a clear vision of what it will take to be around to service our customers for years to come.
