Jim Remick, President

A young Jim Remick began his professional career with a job at General Electric, while also helping to make ends meet with a part-time job in home improvement. It wasn’t long before he realized that this job was the one that really appealed to him, and left GE. He soon hooked up with a company then known as Nickerson Construction Company. Jim quickly helped establish Nickerson Home Improvement Company, Inc. as the residential remodeling division, and just 8 years later in 1976, bought the business himself.

Ever since, Jim and his dedicated staff have grown and developed the company into New England’s top partner in energy efficient building - particularly in the field of SPF insulation, where Nickerson-Remick has eclipsed their competition in every way. From their service of, knowledge about, and selection of spray foam products, the people at Nickerson-Remick have followed in the tradition of its President to love what they do – and it comes through each and every day.

Bret Remick, Production Manager

From the day he graduated high school in 1983, Bret Remick has worked for his dad at the “family business”. And because of this longevity, you’d be hard pressed to find anyone in New England more knowledgeable in the area of energy efficient building and SPF insulations. Go ahead and try.

As longtime Production Manager, Bret has just about seen and heard it all when it comes to installations – which spells good news for clients. Because if there’s one thing Bret puts up there with unsurpassed knowledge on what he does, it’s the highly personal service he backs it up with – something you don’t always find much of these days.
